About the product

LOCTITE HY 4090 is an off-white to light yellow 2-component hybrid adhesive, high viscosity/drop-free, for structural bonding. It achieves high moisture and vibration resistance.LOCTITE® HY 4090 is a highly viscous, off-white to light yellow, gel-like adhesive. It opens up completely new areas of application for structural bonding - for the very first time, the properties of instant adhesives are combined with those of epoxies, thus achieving further remarkable advantages. Achieves hand strength in 90 - 180 seconds and is suitable for gap sizes up to 5 mm. Resistant to vibration, impact and shock loads. Best results are achieved when used with the LOCTITE® 50 ml static mixer (IDH 1826921), LOCTITE® 400 ml static mixer (IDH 1573135) or the LOCTITE® 96001 (IDH 267452) or LOCTITE® 983439 (IDH 218311) dispensing gun.
