About the product
This transparent, fast-curing instant adhesive is particularly suitable for bonding metal substrates. Very low viscosity for components with close-fitting assemblies.LOCTITE® 496 is a very low viscosity, general purpose instant adhesive. It is particularly suitable for metal substrates. It achieves hand strength in 10 to 30 seconds. As it has a very low viscosity, it is ideal for very narrow gaps and tight-fitting components. It also bonds rubber and plastics, including difficult-to-bond materials such as PP, PE and PTFE. For these, a primer such as LOCTITE® SF 770 is required.
