HTC - High-performance soldering cartridge (W x L) 5.3 x 8.3 mm, 700 series

HTC soldering tip cartridges are the high-performance soldering tips for the Metcal MX-5200 and MX-5000 soldering systems. All cartridges are available in 3 temperature ranges: 700 series nominal 390 ˚C, 800 series nominal 430 ˚C and 900 series nominal 470 ˚C. The temperature/series is indicated by the first digit after the hyphen in the part number, e.g. 700-series HTD-7xx, 800-series HTD-8xx and 900-series HTDC-9xx. Metcal recommends the 700 series for most applications. The 800/900 series for high temperature and thermally demanding applications. Can be used with leaded and lead-free solder. Metcal's SmartHeat® technology automatically adjusts the power levels for each soldering process.
