About the product
UFTC Ultrafine soldering tip cartridges are the standard soldering tip program for the Metcal soldering systems of the MX-500, MX-5200 and MX-5200 series.
UFTC soldering tips are available in the 700 series with a nominal temperature of 380 ˚C.The temperature/series is indicated by the first digit after the hyphen in the part number.
Metcal recommends the 700 series UFTC cartridges for small components or densely packed PCBs. They can be used with leaded and lead-free solder. Metcal's "SmartHeat® technology" automatically adjusts the power levels for each soldering process.
