Metcal soldering cartridge (W x L) 3.5 x 17.78 mm, SFP

SxP soldering tip cartridges are the standard soldering tip program for the Metcal soldering systems of the MFR-1110, MFR-2210 and MFR-1351 series. The second letter in the part number indicates the temperature series. The SFP series has a nominal temperature of 390 ˚C. Metcal recommends the SFP series for the majority of applications. However, the family also offers a higher temperature series called SCP, nominally 450 ˚C, for high temperature and thermally demanding applications. The STP series has a nominal temperature of 330 ˚C for low stress applications. They can be used with leaded and lead-free solder. The Metcal "SmartHeat® Technology" automatically adjusts the power during each soldering process.
