About the product
CCRG Protective Coating Removal Gel is a thixotropic gel specially developed for the removal of Electrolube solvent resistant protective coatings: DCA, DCB, DCR, DCRT, DCE, WBP WBPS and PUC. The product does not contain methylene chloride.
CCRG Protective Paint Removal Gel generally does not damage metals; however, some corrosion may occur on ferrous metals if materials are soaked for extended periods of time. With prolonged soaking, CCRG can attack various plastics and will remove component markings. If possible, a compatibility test should be carried out with sensitive plastics before use. As a liquid product, RRS is also available as a removal solvent. CCRG is highly flammable, so care should be taken when using this material.
