FLOWTIN TC Sn99.3Cu0.7 STANNOL triangular bar, per kg

Delivery at your place between May 21 and Jun 25 2025

About the product

Stannol Flowtin TC was developed as a new alloy to eliminate the use of conventional tin/lead alloys in existing production processes in electronics manufacturing.

Technical data
  • Eutectic alloy (defined melting point at 227 °C)
  • Good wetting properties
  • Finer-grained and smoother surface than Ecoloy TC (S-Sn99.3Cu0.7)
  • Reduced deposition rate compared to Ecoloy TC (S-Sn99.3Cu0.7)
  • No problematic disposal of lead-containing waste materials with all Stannol Flowtin alloys
APPLICATION

As with the Ecoloy TC alloy, it is necessary to adjust the temperature profiles on the production systems when switching from leaded to lead-free processes. When switching from Ecoloy TC to Flowtin TC, the settings remain the same! The properties of the resulting solder joints will be comparable or better in all respects to solder joints produced with Sn/Pb solders. The physical properties are not changed by the microalloy additives. The differences between Ecoloy TC and Flowtin TC are:

  • in the solidification of the solder joint, which is finer grained and therefore appears smoother.
  • in the reduced deposition, whereby far less copper is removed.
  • in the extended service life of solder baths due to reduced copper enrichment
