Solder wire crystal 600, Sn96,5Ag3Cu0,5 - FLOWTIN TSC305 - Fairtin, 0.5mm, 250g
About the product
The Kristall 600 flux system was specially developed for soldering tasks in the field of manual soldering. Due to its properties, this solder wire is of course also suitable for use in soldering robots. Although mildly activated, this solder wire ensures fast and reliable wetting on most surfaces used in modern electronics production. All slightly oxidized, easily solderable metal surfaces such as copper, brass or tin-plated surfaces are suitable for reliable solder joint formation. The Kristall 600 solder wire leaves a low, transparent and electrically highly safe residue on the solder joint.
Technical data
The special resin matrix and the new halogen-free activator combination of Kristall 600 offer the following advantages compared to conventional halogen-free wire fluxes:
- Greatly reduced spraying
- Good wetting
- Transparent, clear residues
- Electrically safe residues
Areas of application
Stannol solder wire Kristall 600 can be used for hand and machine soldering in the field of electrical engineering and electronics. The flux residues can remain on the solder joints. As a rule of thumb, soldering tip temperatures should be set to the liquidus of the alloy used plus 120/140K. For example, for the alloy TC Sn99.3Cu0.7 with a melting point of 227°C, a soldering tip temperature of 340-360°C is a good starting setting. The prerequisite for these temperatures is that the entire thermal system must be coordinated.
