About the product
SSC soldering tip cartridges are the standard soldering tip program for the Metcal SP-200 and MFR soldering systems. SSC cartridges are available in 2 temperature ranges, the 600 series with a nominal 330 ˚C and the 700 series with a nominal 390 ˚C. The temperature/series is indicated by the first digit after the hyphen in the part number. e.g. 600 are all SSC-6xxA and series and 700 are SSC-7xxA. Can be used with leaded and lead-free solder. The Metcal "SmartHeat®-Technology" automatically adjusts the power during each soldering process.
