DSC desoldering cartridge, (W x L) 1.78 x 10.92 mm, 700 series

DSC desoldering tips are part of the standard desoldering tip program for the desoldering stations of the Metcal CV-5200, CV-500, MX-500 and MX-5200 series.

DSC cartridges are available in 3 temperature ranges: 700 series with nominal 390 ˚C, 800 series with nominal 430 ˚C and 900 series with nominal 470 ˚C. The temperature/series is designated by the first digit in the numerical part of the part number, e.g. 700 series is DSC-7xx, 800 series is SDC-8xx and 900 series is SDC-9xx. Metcal recommends the 700 series for most applications. The 800/900 series for high temperature and thermally demanding applications. They can be used with leaded and lead-free solder. Metcal's SmartHeat® technology automatically adjusts the power levels for each soldering process.
