About the product
DxP desoldering tips are the standard desoldering tip range for the Metcal desoldering series MFR-1150, MFR-1350, MFR-1351 and MFR-UK5. The second letter in the part number indicates the temperature series. The DFP temperature series has a nominal temperature of 390 ˚C. Metcal recommends the DFP series for most applications. The DCP temperature series has a nominal value of 450 ˚C and is recommended for high temperature and thermally demanding applications. They can be used with leaded and lead-free solder. The Metcal "SmartHeat® Technology" automatically adjusts the power levels for each soldering process.
