The Metcal high performance soldering pen optimally utilizes the available power of the CV-5200 soldering system. Metcal's HTD soldering pen, in combination with high-performance soldering cartridges, provides an additional heat boost that enables effective soldering of demanding solder joints.

- Suitable for HCV soldering cartridges of the 700, 800 and 900 temperature series
- Not recommended for use with the CV-500 soldering system
