The R-78CK-0.5 is a non-isolated DC/DC converter from RECOM. This 0.5 amp switching regulator is a compact and efficient solution with a wide input range from 5V to 40V. With an efficiency of up to 96% and the absence of heat sinks, it saves space and energy and can be operated at ambient temperatures of up to 100°C. Its pin assignment is compatible with the linear LM78xx so that it can be easily integrated into existing designs. The converter also features short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, low ripple and low noise, ensuring stable performance. It is IEC/EN62368-1 certified, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications. The fixed output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12 and 15V make the R-78CK particularly user-friendly. Other voltages are available on request. The converter can also be used as a plus-minus converter, making it ideal for circuits that require a negative voltage source.
