About the product
The RPY-1.5Q is an automotive grade constant current source buck regulator designed to operate high power LEDs. The integrated inductor means that a complete LED driver can be realized in a compact, 3 x 5 x 1.6mm, thermally optimized QFN package with a maximum output current of up to 1500mA, which is set with an external measuring resistor. The input voltage range extends from 4 to 36VDC, so that 5V, 12V or 24V supply voltages can be used. The output is fully protected against continuous short circuits, input undervoltage, output overcurrent or overtemperature. A fault indicator signals a thermal shutdown or LED open/short circuit condition. Applications include dimmable LED lighting, visible or IR LED lighting for drones and robotic camera systems or precise high current CC sources for test and measurement purposes.
